Last week I received some very exciting news…I’ve been accepted into the University of Washington!! 
I’ve tossed the idea of going back to school around for many years now but never having the guts to actually do it. A lot of that came from having no clue whatsoever what I would even go back for, not knowing the proper steps to go about getting back into school, and frankly, I was comfortable with my job at the credit union even though it’s the same entry level position I’ve been in the last five years. I don’t really have a desire to continue in the banking industry, there are many aspects I like, even love, about KCU but my heart just isn’t in it entirely. While I’m still unsure of what I want to do with my life I am getting much closer and toying with some career ideas. I hope to fine tune some of these ideas and really narrow down what I want to do and I’m positive my time in school will help me with this.
I’m taking the plunge and I really believe this is going to be a life changing time in my life. The first step was getting accepted and now with that checked off my list I need to start getting in gear and ready for school in the fall!
There are 3 different campuses of UW; Seattle, Tacoma and Bothell. I will be attending the Tacoma campus starting in the autumn quarter. I am so excited and nervous at the same time but look forward to being a part of this dynamic group!
